Heart disease is the number one killer of humans, period. Whether it be stroke, heart attack, or some other form of cardiovascular disease. We have more to fear from the vital organ on the left side of our chest than from car accidents and murderers. More than 80,000 people die from coronary heart disease every year in the UK alone! There are two main factors that determine your heart health: diet and exercise. We’re not going to go into exercise today (just do it), but given the recent news cycle, we’ll dive into a little bit of Italian cuisine and how you can enjoy it without suffering a coronary.
